Reviews from the American Volleyball Coaches Assn.

March 29th, 2009

I was privileged to have the opportunity to present at the AVCA Convention, and thoroughly enjoyed talking with so many coaches and administrators about DISC and its many applications! I would love to talk with you about your program or organization, and how Coaching C.L.O.U.T. can help you become more efficient and effective with your communication and teamwork!

I was very pleased with the response from the 150 attendees who were able to make the 8:00am start time on Thursday. Here is a sampling of comments about the Coaching C.L.O.U.T. presentation in Omaha, NE.

“Very informative, great insight”

“This is the most important information I have received in my coaching career”

“I really enjoyed and understood. This helped me and she did a great job”

“Good wide scope of of personality and identification with solid examples. Good practicality for teams. I

enjoyed it and felt it was valuable to my development”

I didn’t want to bore you with all of the comments…I really enjoyed the chance to talk with so many coaches throughout the convention, from all levels and backgrounds, and hear that DISC is applicable for everyone! It always amazes me how similar our challenges are!

Thanks to all of you who attended the session! I hope to follow up with another presentation(s) in Tampa in

December!

Welcome!

March 17th, 2009

Hello to All!!

This is the first installment of the new Coaching CLOUT blog and we want to thank everyone for their patience. This blog is a great, interactive way to find out what’s going on in the Coaching CLOUT camp, and how we can help you. Our hope is that users feel free to share comments and testimonials, ask questions or offer suggestions. So send us your thoughts! I have just returned from a wonderful cross-country adventure where I gave ten seminars in four states at five different institutions in twelve days!! What a blast! I had the opportunity to present to administrators, coaches, athletes, student-leaders and to teams. And once again this trip proved to me the power of the model of human behavior. It is always amazing to see the ‘aha’ moments, moments of recognition of ‘yes, that’s me!’ or ‘how did you know?’ Watching people learn about themselves and others, the way they view the world, and communicate is so enjoyable. I know the seminars made a positive impact in the lives of the people who attended. I could see it in their eyes. I could hear it in their voices. And I could see it in the ways they began communicating with others in their group.

My thanks to those universities involved! Stay tuned for more about this trip! Please feel free to make comments or ask questions about Coaching C.L.O.U.T. or DISC. Our goal is to make this blog site informative, fun and inspiring!
