I enjoyed reading your thoughts on communication. I like to think I don’t fall into the category of “coaches who don’t think communication is a skill” however it still is hard!
I am entering my 4th year as a head coach, but 14th year coaching at the college level. I would like to see your power point on what you presented at the AVCA.
What do I struggle with most? Besides helping my players communicate better on the court, an equal struggle I have is communicating to them what I want from them. I am a female coach…and in my evaluations from players receive comments such as “I have a tone at times” (which I call “coaching”). How can I do a better more consistent job in communicating with my athletes?
